Honing his Game

from Foxsports.com
Second-year wide receiver Reggie Williams hasn't just honed his game this offseason, he is revamping it. Williams said the team asked him to bulk up to 230 last year, but he wasn't comfortable at that weight and has slimmed down to about 220. That difference has improved his quickness, especially coming off the line of scrimmage.

It's also allowed him to create separation from cornerbacks, which simply wasn't there during a disastrous rookie season in which Williams caught just 27 passes for 268 yards and one touchdown, despite starting all 16 games. Working with new receivers coach Steve Walters, who was highly respected with the Tennessee Titans, Williams also appears to be running crisper routes and showed a much better knack for holding on to the ball.
