BYRON LEFTWICH NEEDS MORE TIME TO HEAL

Byron Leftwich has decided to not have surgery performed on his left ankle right now and has accepted his coach's decision to not have him in the starting line-up. Leftwich will be given extended time to let his ankle heal. Both he and Jack Del Rio have agreed that his injury is not likely to get any better without more rest. Hopefully, we'll have an idea pretty soon of when he may return.
