Darius to participate on Player Advisory Council

NFL Commish Roger Goodell has set up the NFL Player Advisory Council to communicate on issues that effect NFL players. Only six members have been appointed to the council, one of whom is Donovin Darius, our man at safety. Issues for discussion will probably consist of safety and health issues and player conduct. Am I the only one a little surprised that this is a new idea?
